The Muscle of the industry has got Nigerian rappers and RnB singers switching to Afro Beat so as not to go into extinction. Regardless, in the trial to switch genres and cope with the flow of the industry, many have failed. some other strong minded artiste are not disturbed by the change of trend and are keeping their games strong enough to keep their names of the thick walls of entertainment.

Reminisce Ibile is one local rapper that has really been consistent in the industry. With the entire wave in the flow of trend, from party jams, the pon pon sound, the rap game, anything at all… Reminisce never misses out on them. He might not be your favorite celebrity but every year, there’s a song from him we are vibing to.

Burna boy, regardless of the fact he is being underrated has refused to be shook. He has also maintained his self created Genre which he calls the ‘Afro Fusion’. Burna makes sure that year to year, at least 1 of his songs make everyone’s playlist; The party jam lovers gets theirs, the slow song lovers gets theirs as well amongst plenty others. His album, ‘Outside’ is one not to miss out on.

Timaya, his song ‘Bang Bang’ held me down the whole of last year, am not even over it and ‘Blem Blem’ came through. Whatever Trend you want to bring, Timaya isn’t afraid to kill it by the way. This is definitely why he would be in the industry a lot longer.

Wande Coal is one of the most talented artistes in the Industry, infact, he makes my top 5. Evidently, Wizkid recognizes this as well as he one time ago revealed black diamond was a mentor to him. By the way, have you heard ‘So mi so? It will blow your mind
